Life In the Mission Field

When we are asked a question regarding the life in the mission field, what are the things that comes in our mind? Some of us may answer: hardship, struggles, persecutions and hunger. That’s why some of Christians today are afraid to be called by God in this particular ministry, they are afraid to risk their social lives for hunger and persecution. They just want to go the church, involve to some ministry and THAT’S IT! But, how about the lost souls, are the number of the missionaries today are enough to reach billions of people around the world? NO!, there are still some places that the gospel is not been preached or just consider your loved ones,friends,co-workmate
HARDSHIP, STRUGGLES, PERSECUTION, AND HUNGER! This was always the things young men and women are putting in their mind. That’s why young men are afraid to be a missionary and young women are afraid to marry a pastor. BUT! We must think that without those hardship we are not able to be reached out, without those missionaries who suffer hunger and persecution there’s no gospel to be preached to us. Are all those efforts will stop because of the COWARDNESS in this calling? AWAKE!!! Souls are dying and going to HELL, and maybe one of them is your friend , brother or sister and even your loved ones. Christians, do you care? Do you love? Do you have burden? SOULS IN HELL ARE DYING!!! open your eyes, open your minds, open your hearts. Look on the fields. The fields are so white and ready to harvest. Who will reap? Who will stand? Who will go? God is calling YOU, ME, and ALL OF US. Our God is greater than those hardship. Go on! Keep on! Surrender your life! Salute! to those missionaries who boldly surrender their life in the mission field and prove that life there is not all about hardship it’s all about a faithful and committed life. Of course, A FAITHFUL GOD who will never leave us nor forsake us.Amen!

  1. Hello Jazer. This is Johanna, Teresa Oliver's daughter. I wanted to thank you for putting this on your blog. Thank you for allowing God to work through you, it's exactly what I needed to hear right now in this point of my life. I have added you on my link list so other people can visit this site (which I really think they should), if that's okay with you. I am looking forward to your future posts. Keep fighting the good fight and God may God bless you,

    Johanna Oliver

  2. I know it hurts that you are so far away from your family but as long as your in God's Will, it's for the best. The fact that you are living a God-dependent life will only make your faith in Christ stronger and when the time comes you'll need that strength. Yes, I heard the music on your blog. It was GREAT! How did you find all those songs? I can't find good gospel music like that anywhere on the internet! I'm really looking forward to going to PBI. I'm not exactly sure what God has in store for me but I figure that PBI should get me prepared for just about anything. Anyway, thanks for the encouragement. Have a good day!
